Multnomah Falls and Mount Hood near Portland, OR. Oregon is extremely green- on the verge of TOO green.

The International Rose Test Garden in Portland. So many colors. I bet boyfriends in Portland never have to buy flowers for their girlfriends because they can just snag some from this garden at midnight. I hope that is the case. Oh and I don't know what those Chinese ID cards are about....some shop with really cool furniture was selling them.....suspiciously creepy I think.

Dunes near Dune City, OR. We just had playtime. Oh and I was quite struck by those man's chops.

Oregon is overgrown with plants and flowers!!! There are WILD BLACKBERRIES along the roads!!! I ate and ate them until they just about made me sick. The elk are cool too. And! In Oregon, all gas stations are full-serve! It's a $500 fine if you pump your own gas. And at McDonald's they come around with coffee pots for free refills. This place is craazy.

The lake is Crater Lake. It was REALLY COLD camping here. The mountain with the clouds is Mount Shasta. I don't have a clue where the waterfall is.

For my birthday, my friends surprised me with a bike ride (tandem bikes!!! yesss!) around San Francisco. Some kid was making sculptures along the water. We ate shrimp and crab for breakfast. And I have no idea what that building is- I just thought it was pretty.

Yosemite! Most freezing night of camping so far. We heard people yelling at bears in the campground at night. It scared the snot out of me when I had to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night. But yeah- the place is magnificent. Great ice cream too!!

Sequoia is the greatest national park I've been to so far. My favorite, anyway. The trees are unbelievably huge and beautiful and I love them.

Brian, Jon and I got road-trip glasses because it only felt fitting. We've been camping a lot and are experimenting with such rustic food as hot pockets, taquitos and flautas. Brian suggested apples...not so good. The Grand Canyon was great- until it got dark and we lost Jon.
